Having being faced with the difficulty of finding employment as an inexperienced graduate. I tried over and over to apply for Work Integrated Learning with different companies however, my efforts yielded to nothing. I then decided to go back to school, this too was an impossible mission as I was told that I needed to at least have some sort of experience. I then remembered that I was part of a volunteer project that was rolled out by My hands and heart on behalf of the National Youth Development Agency, that along with some volunteering I did a few years ago with My hands and heart helped me get admission for my B tech application in Public relations management at the Tshwane University of Technology. I have never thought that volunteering would benefit me to this extent, I must say that I am very aware of the benefits of volunteering, I advice all young people to take up volunteering.
